PLEASE NOTE:
Tony’s Chocolonely is recalling certain batches of 3 specific products, due to the potential presence of a foreign object - small stones - in the product. Whilst the chance of any individual product being affected is low, we have decided to take this step in order to ensure the safety and satisfaction of Tony’s Chocolonely consumers.

The 3 products affected are the Dark Almond Sea Salt 180g and 90g bars and the Everything (UK) Melk Karamel Amandel Noga Pretzel Zeezout (NL) Greatest Bits  (DACH) with specific lot codes.

A lot code is a unique identifier assigned to a specific batch or quantity of products manufactured under the same conditions, used for tracking and traceability. It is printed on the side of the bar starting with the letters L or LG.

This recall only affects these specific products and lot codes. All other Tony’s Chocolonely products remain safe to consume and are not impacted.

Do you have a bar with the impacted lot number(s)? Please don’t eat the chocolate. Instead, we kindly ask you that you return the product to the store where you bought it for a refund or replacement.

No, it is only specific batches of 3 products that are affected. All other Tony’s products remain safe to consume and are not impacted.

Once we started to receive consumer complaints, we were able to trace the issue back to one of our almond suppliers. After further investigation, it appears that a new origin of almonds in a limited batch was insufficiently processed at the supplier's factory, resulting in a risk of foreign objects - small stones - being present in the final products that were made.
